Dangers that can result in a flood
One of the many dangers that can happen after a flood are landslides. A landslide is when rock and dirt fall because the dirt has turned into mud. Another danger is for people who's home was destroyed because of the flood and are now homeless with no food, water, or shelter. Also, when a flood hits a farms, all agriculture and produce die. That causes a great expense for farmers. If that is a major source of food in the area the people in the area will not have food for a long time. In addition, when the ground is soaked the soil can be contaminated with sewage and waste from the streets that the water has carried, and will pollute the land that is flooded. Therefore, even after the flood is over the danger still remains in the land.
